I took an old, neglected, and well worn set of chef's knives to John hoping they would return to me in usable condition. What I got back was a MASTERPIECE set of vintage knives, almost too beautiful to use! The drop off and pick up process was very easy, and John communicated with me every step of the process as he evaluated the knives and told me what they needed. I am so glad I took the set to him. They went from nearly trashed to family heirloom. Amazing. I am so happy I am already lining up my other set of knives for him to restore. And I would be remiss if I did not mention - it cost me less to get the knives fixed by John than it would have cost to replace a single knife in the set.

We had an older set of knives that were almost blunt and decided to give them one last shot. Fortunately, we found John and The Point Sharpening. Within a few hours after dropoff, John had brought our set back to life and full performance in our kitchen. A really superior service! Highly recommended!

We had a VERY stubborn blade on our lawn mower that we could not remove and almost cancelled our appointment with John when we offered to come over and give a try. I'll admit, my muscles's ego took a hit but I was thankful John was able to remove it. He took the blade and four of our dull little knives and returned them sharper than ever! The lawn and food have no chance against these new blades. 100% will always use John to sharpen anything in our home!

I had some pretty dull knives and beat up wood lathe turning tools that needed to be sharpened. I had tried a few other places around and was not happy with the service. I found The Point on google and gave them a shot. John was super helpful and took great care of my knives and tools. They are now razor sharp and perfectly shaped. The Point has been sharpening our knives for several years now. We have expensive kitchen cutlery, and he puts a superb edge on it all. Those edges last for nearly a full year under continuous usage. We’ve been using those same knives for 40 years, and The Point makes them as wicked sharp as when they were brand new.
It’s gotten to the point where our friends and family are so impressed with our knives, that they are using The Point also.
This year, we added a bunch of old folding knives, hunting knives, and fillet knives. He brought them all back to life in the most amazing way.

There is a reason there are so many five-star reviews of The Point Knife and Tool Sharpening! I texted John on a Thursday or Friday, inquiring to when I could drop off 4 kitchen knives that desperately needed a good sharpening. He responded quickly and I was able to drop them off Sunday afternoon. He had them ready for pickup less than 24 hours later, and when I say those knives cut everything like butter now, I'm not exaggerating. They're as sharp as can be, which makes cooking much more enjoyable and safer. I will definitely be a repeat customer -- thank you John!
